Testimonials from Our Happy Clients

This is a photo of our beautiful little girl Tess. She is three years old and an inside cat with a run in the garden. She is very timid and we are very careful as to where and who should look after her when we go away.
We were delighted when our local vet (Carnegie Veterinary Clinic) opened the Carnegie Cat Cottage. They have been looking after Tess since she came to live with us at age 10 weeks, so the staff all know her and her little idiosyncrasies.
The Cat Cottage is clean, light and well ventilated. Tess enjoys the different levels and the dark room in the condo where she has the choice of where to sit and sleep.
The staff always welcomes her and do their best to make her feel at ease. She only eats Iams biscuits (which are on their menu) and their comment was “she certainly loves her biscuits!”
When we have picked her up to bring home her coat is shiny, nose cold and wet and eyes clear and we certainly have no complaints (though once home she certainly complains to us!)
Tess has had two holidays in the Cat Cottage and we have booked her in again for our next holiday. We are very glad to have a cattery so close to home and would have no worries in recommending the Cat Cottage to other cat lovers.
Regards

Jenny-puss was put into Carnegie Cat Cottage when the extreme heat around Black Saturday became a problem.
From all reports she took to her suite like a duck to water. The staff were wonderful, looking after her including daily combing. She came home fit and healthy and with a shiny coat. I found the security of the condo helped her greatly. She utilised the litter tray compartment as her hidey-hole – something she does at home. Jenny ate well and related to the staff well.
The theory about cats preferring security over space has been proven by Jenny’s two lengthy stays at Carnegie Cat Cottage. The diet was to her liking and the care given by the staff every day was excellent.
Carnegie Cat Cottage is an excellent place to board your moggie. My little silver fluff ball is evidence of not only good care but affection for its residents/guests.

I can highly recommend Carnegie Cat Cottage to anyone needing a place for your beloved cat to stay. It is reasonably priced and the cats are treated as if they are the only pets staying there.
When I called to check on how Zippy was doing as any protective parent does for their children I was treated as if that is quite normal and not like it would be any different if the roles were reversed.
The veterinary clinic always does a great job and I expected the boarding house to do no different. I wasn't disappointed. And knowing Zippy was staying somewhere that she was treated like the queen she expects and is when at home made my leaving her there a lot easier.
It didn't take Zippy long at all to settle back in to home and when she had some medical issues to be dealt with during her stay it was done with the same professional service I get if taking her to the clinic.

Definitely look at boarding your cat(s) at Carnegie Cat Cottage!
Yours sincerely,

Sarah Rochstein.

Thank you all again for looking after Tinkerbell for me.
You always do a wonderful job anyway when I bring her in to the veterinary surgery but knowing that she was staying somewhere while I was away on holidays where she knew the staff and felt safe made my holiday even more enjoyable.
Even when my daughter called to check on how our cats were doing, we were treated like that was normal procedure and given a full update which on our return proved correct because Tinkerbell was very relaxed and didn't take long at all to settle back in to home life.
I can highly recommend Carnegie Cat Cottage to anyone needing a place local to stay. It is reasonably priced and the cats are treated as if they are owned by the staff running it.
Kind Regards,

Josephine Pepper.
